History Lecture Series

As The Open University celebrates its 50th anniversary, we hosted our History lecture series which opens a window onto the exciting research being conducted by historians at The Open University. Learning on Screen Award image

OU BBC Co-production "The Fires that Foretold Grenfell" Wins Best Broadcast Award

The OU/BBC co-produced documentary "The Fires That Foretold Grenfell" won the prestigious Broadcast Award at the 15th Annual Learning On Screen Awards which took place on Thursday 25th April. Judges described the documentary as “arresting, artfully made and well-researched, with a strong emotional impact”. The documentary was supported by FASS Academic Prof Steve Tombs.
