I gained my History (MA) at the University of Edinburgh between 2011 and 2015. I remained with the University of Edinburgh for my History MSc (2015-2016). My MSc dissertation was on marital violence in nineteenth-century Scotland, and I was advised by Professor Louise A. Jackson.
I am now working with Professor Paul Lawrence and Dr Rosalind Crone on my PhD (FT) at the Open University. I'm researching unreasonable marital behaviour in Victorian Glasgow, and receive funding from the Open University Graduate School.
I am also President of the Post-Graduate Gender Research Network of Scotland (PGRNS)
