The department is delighted to announced that our colleague emerita, Professor Elizabeth McKellar, has been appointed President elect of the SAHGB.

She will take up office next summer, as the first female President. SAHGB is the lead subject body in the UK for architectural history, which is a field of endeavour to be found in Schools of Architecture as well as humanities departments, and around such public bodies as planning and conservation, heritage and museums.
