New OU/BBC Series: Autumnwatch 2019

From Tues 29th October – Fri 1st Nov 2019, a new 4 part OU/BBC series “Autumnwatch” will broadcast live on BBC2 at 8pm.

Series Summary:

It’s Halloween week and Autumnwatch is back – launching a week of special 60-minute programmes celebrating all the very best of our UK wildlife. Broadcasting live from the Dell of Abernethy in the heart of the Cairngorms, Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan, Gillian Burke and Iolo Williams profile this stunning wilderness in its most technicolour season, finding out what autumn means for the iconic wildlife and the animals that live here.

This series was produced with the support of FASS and was commissioned for the University by Broadcast and Partnerships. The OU Nominated Academic is Geography academic Dr Andy Morris and the Media Fellow is Dr Alison Penn.
