David G. Robertson is co-founder of the Religious Studies Project, Bulletin editor for the British Association for the Study of Religion and co-editor of the journal Implicit Religion (Equinox). His work applies critical theory to the study of alternative and emerging religions and "conspiracy theory" narratives, and the history of contemporary alternative religions. He is presently working on present-day Gnostic groups. He is the author of UFOs, Conspiracy Theories and the New Age: Millennial Conspiracism (Bloomsbury 2016) and co-editor of After World Religions: Reconstructing Religious Studies (Routledge 2016).
