Gender and Otherness in the Humanities (GOTH) Research Centre Launch

Dates
Thursday, October 24, 2019 - 16:00 to 18:30
Location
Library Seminar Room 6, The Open University Walton Hall Milton Keynes MK7 6AA

Join us in Library Seminar Room 6 for the launch of the Gender and Otherness in the Humanities (GOTH) Research Centre.

GOTH is based in the School of Arts and Humanities at The Open University, and carries out and supports research in all aspects of gender and otherness in humanistic subjects, particularly gender or gender expression as otherness, the intersections of gender with other kinds of 'otherness', and what it means to be 'gendered' and 'othered'. We consider these areas of inquiry to be of great significance in modern scholarship, and crucial to the Open University, with its exceptionally large and diverse student body.

We would like to add your email address to the GOTH mailing list, to which we send information about upcoming GOTH events. If you would prefer not to join the list, or have any other questions, please email christine.plastow [at] open.ac.uk
