Teaching - Research Day 2022 is dedicated to our Open University students who wish to meet our teaching community and hear about the exciting research going on in our school and how it informs our teaching.

10:45 am to 11:00 am – Welcome and introductions from our Head of School and Directors of Teaching and Research.
11:00 am to 11:40 am – Morning Discipline Session, with the choice of hearing about and discussing new and exciting research coming from:
11:40 am to 12:00 pm – Learn about this year’s Teaching Lab Student Arts Competition.
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm – Get some lunch and drop in to a couple of virtual careers and library sessions, supporting your employability and independent research.
1:00 pm to 1:50 pm – Afternoon Themed Session on the following themes:
1:50 pm to 2:00 pm – Tea break
2:00 pm to 2:45 pm – Keynote lecture from Paul-François Tremlett, Senior Lecturer in Religious Studies, followed by a roundtable discussion with staff and students.
2:45 pm to 3:00 pm – Student voice breakout groups enabling feedback and suggestions.
