Psychology academic consults for OU/BBC short film on Armchair Detectives

an iterative head coversations: Look at what they've done!, Look at who they are! Where are they now? What are they hiding? Whodunnit? Why did they do it?

Tomorrow (Friday 8 November), a new OU/BBC short film on Armchair Detectives featuring the OU’s Professor Kesi Mahendran will air as part of Morning Live on BBC One and iPlayer between 09:30 and 10:45.

The UK is a nation obsessed with true crime. Almost half of fans believe they could solve real-life cases, but are armchair detectives a help - or simply a hindrance? Focusing on high-profile cases, such as the disappearance of Nicola Bulley and Jay Slater, documentary presenter Zara McDermott, with The Open University, explore the psychology behind civilian sleuths.
