Reading Communities London events, 16th September

The Great Diary Project and the UK Punjab Heritage Association (UKPHA) will be joining us in Senate House, London on 16 September for a day of shared-reading workshops, talks, a UKPHA WWI exhibition, oral history and show and tell! The theme for the day event is War, Memory and Reading. Student Hub Live returns for an ‘Olympics Special’ two-hour interactive event on Friday 19 August,12.00 to 14.00pm. Guests, including OU academics Kath Woodward and Elizabeth Silva, will discuss the multi-layered narrative of the modern Olympics.

Catherine Tackley curates music for RIBA's House Party

RIBA's celebration of the Great British Home will feature 'House Music' curated by Catherine Tackley. This 'musical journey through time and space' will explore the architectural roots of popular song and dance and features a folky fun sing-along, parlour pop and a house party dance off.
