The Long and the Short of it: MK Lit Fest

OU creative writing scholars present ‘The Long and the Short of It’, a series of online and in-person sessions as part of MK Lit Fest 2024. Across four discussions in March, prominent authors reveal how they know which ideas or stories best suit which fictional form - flash fiction, short story, novella or novel.

Each discussion is supported by an OU Creative Writing scholar, and the series culminates with a panel discussion led by Emma Claire Sweeney, in person at MK Library on 6 April.
