I originally trained as a primary school teacher in Leeds and after a few years teaching Key Stage 2, moved to Bedfordshire to take up the position of Head of Education at Woburn Safari Park. After setting up the Education Department and spending an enjoyable four years working with children and animals, I decided to leave Woburn for a new challenge. I joined the Open University in 2001 as a Curriculum Manager in the Faculty of Social Sciences and have stayed here ever since. I really enjoy project management and working with teams of academics. I am currently studying for an OU degree in Art History.
