Profile summary

Professional biography

I originally trained as a primary school teacher in Leeds and after a few years teaching Key Stage 2, I moved down South to take up the position of Head of Education at Woburn Safari Park. After setting up the Education Department and spending an enjoyable time working with children and animals, I decided to leave Woburn for a new challenge (and more money!). I joined the Open University in 2001 as a Curriculum Manager in the Faculty of Social Sciences and I've stayed here ever since.
