On May 15, 2024, The Bow Street Police Museum, London, organised an event ‘Past, Present, and Future; The murder of Emily Kaye, 100 years on’.

One of our team members Dr Emmanuel Nsiah Amoako gave a presentation on ‘21st Century Forensic Science—Trust in forensic science project’. The presentation discusses the declining public trust in the accuracy and reliability of forensic science and the importance of rebuilding public trust. It emphasizes the need for forensic science to listen to the public and address any declining trust. It suggests involving people from marginalized backgrounds to gain diverse perspectives and co-create lasting solutions. The overall goal is to reclaim trust and ensure effective cooperation with the public for criminal investigations.
