OU Relationship Research behind $1m Paired App

How do you feel about discussing your relationship?

For many, it’s not something they feel wholly comfortable with. In fact, a YouGov poll conducted in collaboration with Professor of Sociology, Jacqui Gabb, shows that two-thirds of us don’t talk about our relationship with anyone.

The impact of Jacqui’s renowned Enduring Love  research recently led to her appointment as Chief Relationships Officer at Paired and the opportunity to work with the $1m start-up on a relationship app. The result, which launched recently with an entertaining case study in The Times ('Can new app paired's quizzes about sex intimacy and housework really help your relationship'), unites Jacqui’s research with advice from other leading experts.

Daily use of the app encourages reflection and small changes that have the potential to add up to a big difference.

Couples’ relationships are just like any other relationship, you have to put the time, energy and effort into them otherwise they simply won’t survive.
