Communication and Outputs

The project aims to communicate findings to the widest possible audience. Outputs from the research will be placed onto this site when they become available. Among the current outputs for the project are:

• A podcast entitled Understanding Poverty Using Visual Participatory Methods: Can It Work? is available from the NCRM website.
• An article in the NCRM's MethodsNews newsletter explored some early findings from phase 1 of the project.
• Initial findings from the project have been presented at the British Sociological Association conference in April 2018, and at the ESRC Research Methods Festival in July 2018. A recording of the presentation given at the ESRC Research Methods Festival is available on the NCRM YouTube channel.

Among the future planned outputs for the project are:

• A briefing paper.
• Interactive outputs about ‘voice’ in participatory visual methods, aimed at practitioners and a general audience.
• Two journal articles to be submitted to peer-reviewed journals.
