Dr Maria Nita, Lecturer in Religious Studies at The Open University, draws on her ethnographic research inside the Climate, to create a workshop that investigates how storytelling practices may help us envisage and work towards a sustainable future.
The workshop will engage participants in a group storytelling session, asking the audience to actively contribute ideas and add their own interpretations to narratives dealing with contemporary green issues. This is followed by a deconstructive analysis of how such a practice may help us address today's ecological crisis.
Delivered as part of Imagine! Belfast festival of Ideas & Politics.
