We have completed this stage of Changemakers! Here’s our outputs so far:
- The educational resource we created, the Changemakers website, working with young people in Wales (view in either English and Welsh). This website is for young people living in Wales who want to make change to Wales, the UK, and globally. If there’s something you want to be different, you can make change by engaging with Senedd Cymru (Welsh Parliament), UK Parliament, or taking other actions to get your voice heard. It’s important to know which organisation has the power to make the change you’re campaigning for, so we’ll tell you about devolution and the connections between the UK and Wales.
- The final report, published in English (pdf, 1.3mb) and Welsh (pdf, 1.4mb).
- The interactive summary report, available in English and Welsh.
- The OU in Wales information about the project, available in English and Welsh.
- The PolicyWISE ‘Wise in five’ briefing on whether the voting age should be lowered to 16.
- Engaging the disengaged: a guide for policymakers and campaigners. This toolkit provides some practical insights for policymakers and campaigners on methods to engage disengaged groups, drawing on recent OU projects, including Changemakers. Download the toolkit in PDF format or Word format (accessible version). * If you experience any accessibility issues with these documents, please contact Dan Taylor.
