The UK team is working with Walthamstow street market photographers

The UK team is working with two young photographers whose family came from the Philippines in the 1970s and established the first Asian grocery shop in the middle of the Walthamstow street market. Both Laurice and Llyod have been photographing the market and its traders for some years and have exhibited some of these photographs in their shop.

The UK team are hoping to collaborate with Laurice and Lloyd on an exhibition at the Walthamstow public library in the summer, on a stall in the market exhibiting photographs and various findings from the research, as well as supporting these two photographers in their applications for further funding.
