Open Research Week 2025 - 24th-28th March

Arts and Humanities researchers from all 5 disciplines are taking part in Open Research Week.

Join The Open University (OU) from Monday 24th March to celebrate and promote open research, showcasing examples of our open practices across many disciplines. Throughout the week, you’ll hear about the real world applications and engagement of our openly available data, outputs and citizen science platforms. You’ll also hear about open practices that could help you if you want to make your research processes and outputs more open. Webinars include a talk by the team that developed the OU's free course on Open Research, researchers using citizen science platforms to extend data collection, open book and journal publishing options, and talks on AI.

All sessions are online and will be recorded.

Register for individual webinars via the OU Research website

Arts and Humanities researchers taking part include Leon Wainwright (Art History); Elton Barker (Classical Studies); Siobhan Campbell (English & Creative Writing); Richard Marsden (History) and Marie Thompson (Music)
