The Open University is delighted to host the thirteenth Music in Nineteenth-Century Britain Conference. We will welcome scholars from across the globe, speaking on a wide range of topics concerning musical thought and practice, drawing on a variety of perspectives. This includes papers which take an analytical perspective, and those which deploy interdisciplinary methods and theories. The conference will be in hybrid form, although speakers are encouraged to present in person where possible.
Registration for the conference will open on 1 April and close on 30 May.
Registration fees for in-person attendance include refreshments including a barbecue on the evening of Wednesday 28 June, but excluding lunches and other evening meals.
Information about travel and accommodation options is available on the MNCB Conference website.
