OU in Scotland Hosts the FASS Creative Writing Event with Bloomsbury

On Saturday 9th June, OU students and other members of the public attended a buzzing event at Drumsheugh Gardens, Edinburgh where they had the opportunity to meet world renowned authors; Jenny Colgan, Fiona Mozley and William Sutcliffe, as well as literary agent Lucy Juckes and Alysoun Owen, the editor of the Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook and the Children’s Writers’& Artists’ Yearbook.

Citizenship, Infrastructure and the Postcolonial

An interdisciplinary symposium is to be held on Friday June 29th at OU Camden looking at ‘Citizenship, Infrastructure and the Postcolonial'. Keynote speaker Nikhil Anand from University of Pennsylvania will be talking about his work on water infrastructures in Mumbai. We are hoping this will be of particular interest to OU colleagues in the Citizen & Governance stream. The call for papers is still open, so please send in an abstract and/or come along on the day.
