Professional Biography:

I graduated in 2015 with BA (Hons) in philosophy at the university of the West of England before graduating two years later in 2017 with an MA in social and political philosophy at Cardiff University. During my MA I co-founded a business taking on the role of financial director and worked on my research proposal before applying for a PhD at the Open University. I was fortunate enough to be accepted under the supervision of Dr Manuel Dries and began my PhD part-time in 2019.

Research Interest:

My PhD research is focused on the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche and how he characterised the relationship between facts and values. Of central importance to my research is how Nietzsche’s arguments, insights and claims impact our conception of the fact-value distinction and how the presence of values affects our ability to obtain factual knowledge.
