Welcome to the 2022 Annual Conference of the British Forum for Ethnomusicology!

This year’s conference is a hybrid event with in-person and online elements. The in-person component will take place Friday 8 and Saturday 9 April at the Open University campus in Walton Hall, Milton Keynes. The presentations on these days will also be accessible to online participants.

Thursday 7 April and Sunday 10 April will be held completely online, with no face-to-face component on these days. (This arrangement helps us keep conference costs low while allowing those members who wish to do so an opportunity to meet again in person.)

BFE conferences are run in accordance with the BFE Conference Code of Conduct. By taking part in a BFE conference, you agree to be bound by this code.
