OU Migration

OU Migration brings together researchers from across The Open University who work on migration. It brings together activities, projects and people who have built a vibrant research environment on the topic. The programme of activities include theoretical research on migration, contributions to policy debates and community activism and capacity sharing with migrants and migrant organisations worldwide.

Formed in 2019, OU Migration was originally set up by Professor Parvati Raghuram, Professor Umut Erel and Dr Gunjan Sondhi. Since its inception it has served both as a platform to showcase migration related academic work as well as a research hub further advancing academic knowledge on migration through research seminar and training events delivered by internationally-recognised leading field experts.
