Shonil Bhagwat is a Professor of Environment and Development at The Open University, and is the CATAPULT Principal Investigator.  His research engages critically with environmental concerns in the areas of agriculture and food security, biodiversity and conservation, ecosystem services and sustainability.

Emmanuel Junior Zuza is working as the CATAPULT’s Post-Doctoral researcher based at The Open University and he is also a lecturer at the Royal Agricultural University. His research focusses on sustainable land use planning, food security, climate modelling and life cycle assessments of crop value chains.
