Study

The School of Creative Industries already offers short courses in film, media and post-production editing.  A new Certificate of Higher Education in Film and Media production, delivered by the Open College of Arts (OCA), was launched in September 2025, to be followed by the BA Film and Media degree in 2027. 

As part of the BA Film and Media, students will learn how to analyse the power and impact of the moving image by exploring film and media theories, histories and the methods of practitioners from diverse cultures around the world. There will be an emphasis on developing key skills, embedding professional practices and supporting students to create engaging digital and multimedia content for a variety of audiences and platforms.

We will be growing our curriculum across the creative industries over the coming years. Watch this space for more information!
