Postgraduate Research in Social Policy and Criminology

Prospective Students

We welcome applications in Social Policy and Criminology to study for an MPhil or PhD, as either a full-time campus-based student or a part-time student. We are particularly interested in proposals which fall within our existing research strengths. Find out more information about our current research expertise here.

Key dates

The application deadline for funded students is noon 7 January 2025 and for self-funded students the deadline is noon 31 March 2025. This is for all applicants wishing to begin their students on 1 October of that same calendar year.

For those wishing to begin their studies on 1 February, the application deadline is 31 August of the previous calendar year.
