The Open University has unveiled its new postgraduate Development programme, successor to the popular and influential MSc in Development Management.

On Wednesday 4 March The Open University once again teams up with BBC Radio 4’s long-running social science programme, Thinking Allowed, for ten weeks.

On 2 March, a new four-part OU/BBC series ‘Age of the Image’ starts on BBC Four at 9pm.

Dr Richard Marsden, Lecturer in History, with Sarah Roberts of the OU in Wales and partner Linc Cymru, have been successful in their bid for funding for a community research and engagement project with participants in Blaenau Gwent (South Wales).

A £6.7m investment from Research England in OU’s Astrobiology research group has enabled transdisciplinary collaborations at the OU and FASS academics are delighted to be part of the collabrations.

Starting on Friday 7 February a new four-part OU/BBC series “Our Coast” begins on BBC Two at 8:30pm

Starting on Thursday 6 February, a new six-part OU/BBC series “Secrets of the Museum” airs on BBC Two at 8pm.

Starting on Thursday 23rd January a new 3-part weekly OU/BBC series ‘Travels in Euroland with Ed Balls’ will be shown on BBC2 at 9pm.

On Tuesday 7th January, a new OU/BBC TV series ‘Cornwall: This Fishing Life’ will be shown on BBC2 at 8pm.

From Monday 6th January, a new OU/BBC Radio series ‘Green Originals’ will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 at 1.45pm daily Monday-Friday for 3 weeks.
