Workshop 2: Exploring the Themes from Workshop 1

It was lovely to welcome returning and new members to our second workshop on Saturday 29^th June. Thanks to Dr Mary McHugh for her overview of the Archives of the Catholic Archdiocese of Glasgow, and to members who provided their 3-minute snap-shot presentations. That brings our snapshot total from both workshops to 16. Our small-group discussions considered two of the themes from Workshop 1, ‘Global Glasgow’ and ‘For the People’. From these, we agreed three areas for Workshop 3 - Culture as a vehicle for (a) inclusiveness, (b) health and wellbeing, and (c) Culture in times of conflict.

Some members have asked us to find an alternative date for Workshop 3 in September. This will be announced shortly on the website.
