Due to restrictions still in place, we met as a group online on 2nd June 2021 to consider and review new practices in light of the pandemic. Isobel McDonald’s talk ‘Glasgow Museums Online’ took us through the valuable resources that have been created by curators to support research and remote visitors. Irene O’Brien speaking about ‘Managing city archives in a pandemic, lessons learned and recovery planning’ made us aware of the challenges that the Archives staff have faced over the last year while fulfilling their statutory duty to maintain the archives and what changes we may see in the future as users.
