Over June and July 2023, Prof Simon Usherwood gave evidence to numerous government panels, including:

• 21 April, evidence to the House of Lords on the Windsor framework
• 19 June, evidence to the Welsh Senedd’s Legislation, Justice and Constitution Committee
• 18 July, evidence to the House of Commons’ Business and Trade Committee, on The 2026 review of the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement.

Over that time, Simon also spoke at the UK in a Changing Europe annual conference on UK-EU relations, and co-organised a workshop for Early-Career Researchers working on Brexit topics, at the University of Cambridge.
