OpenARC supports postgraduate research students (PGRs) primarily by providing funding for Research Groups and Networks based in the School of Arts and Humanities. Most of our postgraduate students are members of one or more Research Groups, but we also have PGRs attached directly to OpenARC, who will be listed below. OpenARC ran the first ever Arts & Humanities 'Research Briefs' event (hybrid) for PGR students on 20 November 2025. The aim of this event was to help PhD students communicate their research to wider, non-academic audiences. 4 PhD students gave presentations which have been recorded, and have since produced research flyers to support their public engagement aims.
